Tasked to conceive a package design using a pattern and icon that I created, this Barbecue Sauce package design aims convey a playful spirit. Inspired by the bee, the primary logo incorporates a clever play on words ‘BEE-BQ’ and the secondary mark/icon includes a nested bee icon in the ‘Q’. I chose to use a smooth script font for the flavor title to compliment the thicker rounded type in the logo. The pattern illustrations include barbecue elements and the color palette reflects flavors appropriately.
